To Be
... a winemaker is more than just a job, it is more like a calling, a way of life, and often a family tradition where knowledge is passed on from generation to generation. It requires scientific acumen, long days - and sometimes nights - spent in the vineyard and between tanks and barrels with wine stained hands, often making quick and risky decisions to handle Mother Nature's challenges.
Adapting every single year to nature's unique conditions allows winemakers to develop their artistry to create ever new masterpieces. It is the opportunity to express a region and its people, climate and terroir, and a year's worth of hard work and dedication in a single bottle. As they say: Bottled poetry.
Discover these internationally acclaimed winemakers' works of art through our new selection of delicious Malbecs and Malbec Blends!
All the wines can be found on Vivino, having received great reviews and ratings all the way up to 4.4 (here is a link to the list).
Enjoy!

Marcelo Pelleriti is one of the Argentina's leading winemakers. He does two harvests a year, one in Argentina, where he is the chief winemaker of Monteviejo winery, and one at two Châteaux in Pomerol, France. He became the first Argentine to make a wine that obtained 100 points by Robert Parker, the Château La Violette 2010. Through his wines he pays homage to the Uco Valley farms full of grapevines, where he and his grandfather would handpick grapes to make homemade wine, the same farms where his dream to become a winemaker began. Marcelo's great expertise is exemplified in his powerful Selection Blend of Terroir, and the harmonious and delicious Monteviejo Lindaflor Malbec.
